QUALITY

If you haven’t already consumed your cookies, we recommend enjoying them within a week. If you plan on savoring them over a more extended period, place them into the freezer upon arrival. This preserves their freshness for up to two months.

ALLERGENS

While our certified kitchen is not allergen free, we do our best to ensure and avoid cross contamination within our non-nut / nut-free cookies. See our ingredient list here.

PROCESSING TIME

Please allow a 1-4 day processing time when your order is placed. Our cookies are baked-to-order weekly and shipped every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Orders placed after 12 PM on Thursday will be shipped the following week.  

We close our online bakeshop every last week of the month to open pre-orders for our cookie community for the next COTM special. While the shop is closed, any orders placed the week before will be shipped and delivered as regularly scheduled. Sign up with your email to be on our exclusive list. 

ONLINE ONLY & AT FARMERS MARKETS

Our shipping services are exclusively available online, and you can also find us at local farmers' markets in NY. Stay updated on farmers market dates by following our social media accounts, and feel free to drop by and say hello.

WHERE DO WE SHIP?

We currently ship to every postal address in NEW YORK ONLY via USPS. Follow us on socials to be up to date on our nationwide shipping announcement.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Our cookies are bake-to-order and to ensure quality freshness all orders are USPS 1-2 day PRIORITY. Your order should take 1-2 business days to arrive. Please consider this when placing an order as a gift or for time-sensitive deliveries.  

We recommend planning accordingly with our shipping schedule if your order is needed by a specific date. We cannot be responsible for your package as soon as it leaves our kitchen, please keep up with the tracking information sent when received via email. 

We encourage customers to order 1-2 days before during national and peak holidays to ensure your cookies will arrive in time for the holiday. We will continuously post holiday shipping information on our socials to help you plan.  

RETURNS

All of our cookies are handcrafted and made in house. We are unable to accept returns due to the perishable nature of our cookies. If you encounter an issue with your order, email us with the order number in the subject line at hello@melmadecookies.com and let us know what is going on. We will make every effort to make it right.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS & MODIFICATIONS

We retain the right to reject a request for order cancellation or modification if we cannot process it before the product has been shipped. Kindly review your order carefully before confirming, ensuring accuracy in the delivery address details. Once an order has been fulfilled, we are unable to make any modifications to the order or shipping address.
